After years of clinical experience in Mexico and Houston, Mirada Verde became a commitment to helping people better understand, protect, and care for their vision through early detection, education, and compassionate eye care.
We believe many eye diseases can be detected before they progress, and that access to quality eye care can make a meaningful difference in people and their communities.
The Vision Behind Mirada Verde
With more than 10 years of experience in eye care, Dr. Iván Crisosto Lascon focuses on advanced visual evaluation, comprehensive eye care, prevention, early detection, and personalized visual care.
Graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), he furthered his clinical training at Hospital Central PEMEX Norte and later in Houston at Retina Vascular Center under the mentorship of retinal specialist Dr. Charles A. Garcia, gaining experience in retinal and vitreous diseases, visual quality, and the early detection of conditions that may threaten vision.
He also has experience in post-surgical visual care, helping patients achieve the best possible vision after cataract and retinal procedures through personalized refractive care and visual optimization.
Dr. Crisosto is also the founder of CLEAR, an initiative focused on prevention, education, community eye health, and international collaboration in vision care.
